Auchan, the French retail group, is recruiting to fill around 60 vacancies in its stores in the Algarve towns of Faro, Lagoa, Olhão and Portimão.
The full and part time vacancies include roles in stock replacement and security, as well as store assistants for parapharmacy, fresh produce, delicatessen and meat and fish.
Petrol station operatives, customer services and cafeteria staff are also being sought.
The retailer currently employs around 9,000 staff in Portugal, 90% of whom are also shareholders in the company.
