Natixis, a subsidiary of French banking major Groupe BPCE, has announced it plans to recruit 200 graduates for paid internships starting this September.
The roles, which span engineering and IT, management, accounting, finance, international relations, law, human resources and communications & marketing, are intended for young people eligible for placements via the Instituto do Emprego e Formação Professional (Institute for Employment and Vocational Training / IEFP).
Commenting on the move, Maurício Marques, director of human resources at Natixis Portugal, said: “Our project in Porto continues to grow and we are increasingly committed to investing in young talent, in areas from Information Technology and Banking to Human Resources”.
“At Natixis, recent graduates will find a development experience that matches their ambition, and where they will have the opportunity to learn a great deal about the projects we are developing at our Centre of Excellence in Porto”, he continued. “This will offer long-term career prospects”.
90% of graduates who complete internships at Natixis in the last two years have progressed to full employment with the company, he added.
